Default 09 bluetooth activation

Anyone know what the dealer has to do to get it working, been to two different dealers with no luck.
I bought a bluetooth module and mic from salvage yard install under radio, plugged in module and mic, how does the dealer tell the car the module is installed any help would be appreciated so maybe I can help my dealer find and turn on the bluetooth.

Welcome to forum. mitsupartsman shared a procedure to do this for yourself, do not remember where is it, so you have to look a bit through the forum.

I have searched and found nothing, Please remember when I hit any of the buttons nothing happens at all. This is not a passcode problem, this is just getting the car to recognize that it now has the bluetooth module installed so I can even start the pairing process.

Have you checked there's power to the unit initially?

jsrd is right
you definitely need a procedure to activate after the BT module install, try it first.

Thanks for the help, but I couldn't get it to work with that procedure. The second dealer called me and told me they think they now know how. A hope so cause I spend over 2 hours their today and nothing , if anyone knows how without going back to the dealer I would love to know.

Which YEAR car did you pull it from?

07-09 uses part MZ313819
10-12 uses part MZ314537

They are $100 difference too so it must be quite a different part,

check here.

Well I think let the dealer activate it for you, should be less than an hour labor and if it doesn't work you don't pay.
The bluetooth is worth it.
