2004 Otlander XLS
Hi, I am new to this and would like to share my question. I have a used 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS and the rear suspension needs work. I took it to 3 different mechanics who were recommended by co-workers and each told me similar things... I need both rear knuckles replaced, on the front --> both front outer tie rods and both front links alignment.
The reason is the tire threads are wearing on the inner side. I was also told, since the 2004 model's have a design flaw, it's a 2-3 hr job... everything has to be removed to get it out. The best price: $1500 cash for everything.
Anyone experienced these issues too?
