I will be getting the cap regardless - it shouldn't cost too much. I was planning to get the utility bars toosince they cost about $70-$80.
One thing I will have a look at when I get a chance is if they improved the radio display. I think that could also be easily updated too from what I've seen.

I have to figure out how the basic (cheaper) crossbars look like. I think the more expensive ones are the Thule (it has the Aero in the description) seen on other markets. If I don't like them, I will be getting the after market ones from Australia (Rola), which are perfect.

Would that then be an import shipped from AU directly or do they have a reseller in the US/CA? Can you tip me/us with the model you're buying and for how much (+S,H)?

NoUS/CAN reseller. It will be a direct shipment. The price is $241.80 AUD + $79 AUD shipping. I expect to pay duties and local taxes. I works out under $300 CAD I think.
The only reason I'm holding off from ordering right now is to see how theOEM roof racks look like. I believe the more expensive one is silver (maybe the Australian model), but I have no idea about thecheaper one.I have a feeling they both look like add-ons and extend over the roof rails, but I want to see them in person and make sure I'm correct in my assumption.

Web site: http://www.rola.com.au/rola/and do a search by vehicle. what I'm getting is ROLA Sports bars (P/N: RB119).

Canadian 08 LS 4WD versus 07 LS 4WD w/Convenience:

Added:
1. Colour-keyed door handles
2. FAST key
3.Door panels with insert trim
4. Standard 3rd row seat (from October production)

Removed:
1. Cargo cover

Price increase: $650.

Happy with my 2007 model. I see OEM crossbars listed as accessories, plus ski and bike mounts. No all-weathermats yet.
I called the dealer in regards to the crossbars, but they gave me some story which I don't believe. I will wait and see pictures of the actual Canadian crossbars first.

The I4 model is pretty well equipped compared to the competition and it still costs less. The fuel ratings are similarto the CRV and RAV4 and a little less than the Rogue. I hate the CVT to the point I wouldn't get an Outlander because of that.
Hey, I got my outie with cross bars install from the dealer. In Canada too!

The Canadian 08 now has Sirius as well. Loving it. That alone made the wait for the 08 worth while. I've been driving it for almost 2 weeks and havent even popped a CD in.
