2008 Mitsubishi Outlander Headlight Aiming
My car had front end damage that was repaired, including a new passenger side headlight. I don't think the headlights were aligned properly or at all. Even though l was told they were. Driving around it appears the light of one headlight is higher that the other. I saw black rubber ***** with arrows on them above the headlights.Do l use these to align/aim the headlights?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Took my car out tonight and noticed one light was much higher than the other. I'll bring back to the bodyshop Monday and have them fix it. As my 1997 Toyota Rav had levels above each light making it easy. These new headlights probably need to be specially aimed. Thanks for your reply.
Are they HID's? The XLS model came with them standard and they are supposed to be self leveling. When I turn mine on in the garage, you can see the beam shift slightly on it's own when the car is cold. The shop may not be aware of this.
