Default 2008 Outlander 2.0 Di-D low power (especially when cold)

Hi,

I have a 2008 Outlander 2.0 Di-D. It has just under 120k miles and is serviced regularly.
I've had the car for about 2 years now and have always noticed its lack of power and pinking when cold.
I had the turbo replaced last year after having issues with carbon build up and had hoped this would improve performance slightly also. Unfortunately the low performance issue persists to this day and I'm looking for some advice or if anyone has had prior experience with something similar. The car seriously under powered when cold and takes about 15 minutes of driving in order to get any really life out of it.
I have changed the fuel filter and run injector cleaner through a few tanks but am not really seeing any improvement.

Any info or advice is greatly appreciated.
