You are right, my 2010 SE has all the BT buttons ready on the steering, but BT was not installed, so my car does not have the USB input ready...

By the way, does anyone here know which Canadian site I can go buy genuine Canadian Accessories/Parts and ships to the States?
Same question for the European Accessories/Parts.

Thanks a lot

Read this on how to physically do it (last 2 posts)

Nobody has tried it yet, and it looks to depend on the car stereo/BT module firmware.

hi, i have a 2011 outlander with bluetooth pre-wired. last week i went to dealer for the BT module installation. After I got back I notice on the display if i press MODE button it goes from CD,FM1,FM2...to USB and then "U not connected" I pulled up the stereo and i found the bluetooth module and it does have a USB port but just a little bit smaller than a regular USB. what does this mean?
can i connect a special usb cable and play music via usb drive? if yes, where i can find the special cable?
thanks!

Default bT module connections

the first picture is before the bluetooth installation

the connection "thing" it looks like a regular usb but it is smaller (not as wide as the regurar USB port)
it's got 4 pins on one side (like USB) and 2 more on the other side(it might be just the metal casing on a regular usb)

I still have one more cable haging over that is not conneted and another one behind the glove box.
