Default 2011 RVR - Rockford Fostgate - USB trouble

Hello,

when using the usb input with an usb key, every time I turn the start my car, the playback doesn't resume from last song. My first usb key was able to resume from last song but I added more mp3 and then it stopped. I tried changing the usb key and it worked at first. But after adding a couple of song, it stop resuming from last song.

Is there some trick with the system that I don't know?
2011 RVR GT with rockford fostgate system. No MMCS.

Weirdly, the 2012 outlander of my father is doing the same thing as my car : can't resume from last song.

Thanks

Try reading over this previous thread. I was having the same issue, but the tips from this thread helped.

Thanks!

I'll try the ''untested'' solution this evening.

Ugh, mine started doing this several months ago. I had a USB drive that was working perfectly I brought it in and was listening to the music on my work PC and now it won't resume. PLEASE report back if you find a solution.

It worked.

I created a new "master" folder then transferred all the music folder in it. I added the date at the end of the first 8 album folder and files (around 100 songs)

Now when I restart my car, the player restart from last song.
