Anyone else going through a windshield every 1.5 years? Same crack, never took a rock, spreads across whole bottom of windshield, in line with wipers.

huh....that's odd. always same spot? time of year?

I did have a '93 Eclipse pop a windshield like that. if it was happening that often, I'd be tempted to drill a small relief hole at the end of the crack and re-epoxy it. I've used the Rain-X windshield repair kit with extremely good luck....30 min and cracks/pits are gone. One $10 kit has fixed 5 cracks by now. Suck it Safe-Lite.

Exact same spot, it's been quite warm here so shouldn't be temperature related, hasn't been on a hoist. Last time it happened was in winter, was cold and vehicle was on a hoist. I'm thinking there is excessive chassis flex. Wondering if any other 2010 and up Outlander owners have had same issue.

I ask about temperature as it could be during really hot (expanding glass) or really cold (contracting glass) spells that could create pressure relative to the temperature when the glass was installed.

I have a 2011, haven’t had an issue yet. I’ve lived in Winnipeg where it could get around -40 and North Carolina where it’s always hot as stink. Sounds like maybe an installation problem?
