2014 rear shocks
Ok so I finally got my hand on a pair of rear shocks. From my understanding is that there is rear access for the top mounts in the back. One being behind the subwoofer? Is this correct. Now I'm only changing the shock absorber and the damper. Is there any tips anyone can provide me or anything else I should be changing. Trying to save the 600$ it will cost me at the shop. I have done shocks before but they have been the complete quick strut assembly. Do I have to dismantle whole assembly? Is it possible to just unbolt the stock and slide the new one in. 2014 Outlander gt. Any tips or videos would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
I ended up going to the dealership. Surprisingly it was the cheapest option. I'm in Canada and it costed 480$ for the shocks and install at the dealer. I was quoted 600$ a two different random mechanic shops in my city. The 2014 outlander gt are extremely hard to find parts for other than the dealer. They charge the design in this year and then changed it again for 2015. As much as I hate the dealer ship I highly recommend. Your knock could also be from the sway bar link. Can't remember the exact name but might need a part replacement part or it tightened up. My rear shocks were done because I towed a camper for a few years. Good luck
