Default 2015 Outlander Sport- Wont Start

Hello, first post in the forum.

I have a 2015 Outlander Sport and earlier today I got it to start. Then 4 hours later I tried to start it and it wont. The break pad got really stiff too.

It does have fuel. When I click the button to start it, it just makes a noise.

Any tips or things I can try to get it to start?

Does it recognize the key fob?

I know when I had my 2011, if batteries died in the fob, you could pull the key and stick it into the emergency key port (my model year was located in glove box)

I never had to do this... but this is first thing I would try.... next to check is good battery cable connections

What kind of noise does it make? It's possible you left a light on or something that killed your battery to the point that it can't start your car...

Your brake system has a powered booster that only recharges when the engine is running that makes the pedal easy to press. If you press it more than two or three times with the car off it will get hard, once the engine fires up it will go back to normal.
