Default 2018 NO FIX phone volume to 11

Just got off the phone with Mitsubishi customer service in Cerritos, CA after I filed a complaint about the poor performance of the electronic dash with two items:

1. Android Auto does not work with Bluetooth
2. Phone volume for Android phone does not exceed 11

The dealer has been advising me since I bought the vehicle that there was going to be a firmware update. The manufacture is blaming the Android phone manufacture (of course) but they have no plans to fix his at all and the system works just fine on 2019 and above.

I've just bought a 2018 Phev and the mobile phone volume is a maximum of 11 and comes out of the passenger speaker (left-hand-side) rather than the drivers side. I presume that you have heard nothing more from Customer Service about a fix? and do you mean that the 2019 onward models work fine?

That's correct. Mitsubishi said there is a new manufacture of the entertainment console in 2019 and newer vehicles and they have no plans to repair or update vehicle owners that have certain model Android phones and are incomparable with the Outlander navigation systems from vehicles older than 2019 model years. They have pretty much declared "go pound sand" to this issue.
