So I got some new speakers for my mitsubishi outlander but they don't fit due to the twist and lock speaker set up . I can't seem to figure out how to get them to fit. What do I do?

 

If you don't want to hack up the metal panel you can use mounting adapters like Scosche SAMI651. Otherwise you might have to cut some of the metal off so that the speaker fits through the panel and drill mounting holes.
