Greetings all,
Just bought a 2020 Outlander PHEV GT here in Vancouver, BC Canada at 60000km.
Battery charges to 100% on Level 1 or 2, but only shows 18km range (as opposed to ~35km expected).
on CHAdeMO stopped at 80% as expected, and showed 20km range was added, and yet on the Outlander it was only 13km.
Ambient temperature 4C.
What is going on, you think?

Try driving till flat and recharging again. Do this a couple of times and you will see the distance come up.

Maybe the previous owner didnt look after the car much and never charged the battery, Some owners do neglect this.

After doing this a few times,.range did increase a little. But, I realized the main reason why my initial reading 18km was because the HVAC was on. Turning that off brought the reading up to 30km right away. Now I read 31-33km as ambient temperature seems to make a difference. Thanks again for your response.
