If the antenna and antenna cable are the same with or without the satellite, then why Part #MZ360162EX is needed while only the brackets are necessary?

Here's a picture of the module, on the side, looks like the antenna jack, so the ONLY antenna plugs into the back of MMCS or this Sirus module??

Why not to check if your car has needed wiring/connectors? Just pull lower glove box, there should be at least 3 unoccupied connectors.
