Default Aftermarket Installs, what you got?

hey everyone, new too the forum and stoked on my new 09 outlander ls,

peeked through a handful of posts on the subject but couldn't find a definite answer, wondering if anyone has done what im looking for.

so ive got the base ls, no rockford fosgate, or navigation, but am looking to get the navigation dash kit then put in an aftermarket navigation/dvd headunit, hoping that i can still get all the steering wheel controls to stay alive.

if anyone has attempted or is playing around with the same idea, let me know whats happened so far!, thanks all

I am using a 07 Outie as same as your situation. But instead of putting the navi headunit, I rather buy a GPS for my car. But, maybe someday if there is some kind of aftermarket products, I might put LCD monitors behind the headrest and put the stock navi if possible. I don't like the aftermarket navi/dvd headunit as I don't think it will be compatible with the accessories I have already installed. Some people may suggest you to convert the center storage compartment to the DVD player and I think it is a good idea, but I hope there is such kind of products in the market but not the speaker unit...
