Aftermarket Radio in an Outie Sport
I have found that they already make a single and double DIN faceplate for the Outie Sport, and was considering puting in a double DIN faceplate, amp, small sub, and maybe upgrading the front speakers.
The QUESTION: Has anyone upgraded theirs yet? Are there ANY brands, single or double DIN that will interface with the steeringwheel radio and bluetooth controls? I do not want to lose those features (well, honestly, i dont care too much about the bluetooth. I've used it maybe twice lol).
I found this:
http://www.axxessinterface.com/steer...ntrol_new.aspx
Which says it should work for the audio and channel controls but doesnt mention bluetooth... I also called BestBuy to see if they had done any installs, he said they hadn't yet.
Thanks!

The current gen RVR/Outlander/Lancer/EVO those steering wheel controls are exactly the same, so you can get any device that works on any of them. Its just a resistance based simple wire loop (bluetooth and stereo controls use same wire). I use the PAC SWI-RC on my Outlander, since it works with the most stereo systems. So it just plugs into a small socket in the back of my Pioneer AVH-P2300DVD. Most stereos have this jack in the back (aka "remote wire"), just make sure the stereo you get has it.
Since you don't have the Rockford Fosgate system I assume, then you don't need the MITO-02 to activate the AMP.
