Air filter causing check engine light
Hey guys
I bought a new air filter and after I finished installing it, I forgot to put the electric plug right next to it. Once I started the car check engine light went on. I did put the plug back in but the light is still there.
I tried to put the old filter back but the light won't go away. Nothing else was changed in air other then this...
This is a 2011 mitsubishi outlander
thanks for your help

it will work on all vehicles. it only clears codes out of the computer as the computer needs the battery to store them in memory. kill the power, you kill the memory, cleared codes.
the correct way would be go to a parts store, get a code reader, read the code and decide if something needs to be fixed, clear the codes with the reader.
