that's nice... i think depending on the LED specs, you can put them in series and add a resistor.
another option is to use a voltage regulator IC (LM7805) and put them in parallel as long as the LEDs can withstand 5V and has total of 1A altogether.

The fog light plastic bezel is surface mounted. Just plop it out using a flat screw driver covered with cloth to avoid scratches.
