Default Anyone had this windscreen washer problem?

Hi all,

Never had a problem before, but my rear window wash has started playing up.

The front washer works fine, but when I turn the end of the right hand stalk to wash (for the rear window), screen wash squrits out of the front washers as well as the rear washer.

Sounds like a valve / solenoid issue? Anyone had this before and can offer advice as to how to rectify?

Cheers

Mark

I had this for the first time a week or so ago. It was fairly cold (for the UK), -1° or -2°C and I noticed, as you had - the front washers operated at the same time as the rears.

It didn't do it later, hasn't done it since!

Mine have been ok since too.

Glad it's not just me then! You get so used to everything working like clockwork with a Mitsu, it's a real shock when something doesn't work as expected!

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
