Hi All

So as per my signature I drive an ASX dressed in French attire, and my first question is, what's wired into the rearview mirror? I know it's an auto-dimming unit (can see the sensors at the bottom of the mirror) but it also has some opaque plastic thingy on the front. This along with the fact that there are 3 wires going into the mirror makes me think it might have another function.

The reason I'm asking is I'm considering replacing it with something that can display a reverse camera seeing as my FASX has the standard head unit.
