Auto window up / down module
Vadimus got me thinking, of how sweet it would be to have auto up / down power windows on every window. 2008+ outlanders only have a drivers window auto up / down. While we can not do it via etacts, we can do it with some relay modules.
These modules will allow the driver to have 1 touch auto up / down. Everyone else in the car will have to do it normally.
You DO NOT need a remote start to have this work. But if your remote start has an auxiliary function, then you can have your remote roll the windows up or down.
We can do this with 2 Directed 530T modules.
I am working on the wiring end right now. I looked into the service manual and traced each motor wire back to under the dash. I have attached my dropbox folder with all the info I have figured out. Diagrams, ect. The excel document has the most info on what each wire and splice needs to be.
I'm not sure yet if I'll have a module do front and the other do both rear, or if I will have a left side module and a right side module. I'll do what ever is easier.
At some point this week, I will find the connector locations and verify the wiring. (pin numbers, wire color ect)

I'll keep you guys posted. I'll do my best to take a lot of pics.

I've marked up the pdf drawings. Highlighted connector numbers. The power window drawing page 5 is marked up with a summary.
If all goes well with the connector locations, I'll order the modules that day.
Updated with all module connections except ground. That is the easy part

Connectors are easy to get to with plenty of room to hide the modules. You just need to take off the lower corner plastic and all the connectors are right where the manual shows them/ (see drop box for pdf).
Should be really easy, cut 3 wires. make 5 splices and land a ground per window. All right under the dash. no need to open door panels. sweet!
I'll be buying the modules soon, but it is cold....no need for the windows to be down. haha, This will be a fun spring project.

I may be the only one here who gives a **** about this haha
If you have a 1 button remote starter, we can still use it to roll down the windows automatically! I have the viper 1 button responder one. (2 way remote, small 1 button no AUX)
Once the engine is on and running if you tap the button once, it sends one or 2 negative pulses to unlock the doors. well, our Mitsubishi remotes can unlock the doors...why have two?
If we take that negative pulse and connect that to a $15 DEI 528T timer relay we can convert the quick pulse to a 3 second pulse to activate the DEI 530T modules thus opening all the windows.
without the DEI 528T the windows will only open about 2".
The DEI 530T requires a 3 second auxiliary negative pulse to fully activate the modules. Which is why we need the cheap 528T.
wiring diagram is in the dropbox folder above.
until spring!

This is an old thread, I'm wondering if there are any update?
I'm planning to do this with a DEI 535T and some PAC modules to allow me to trigger the window up and down from the remote.
I tried looking for the wiring diagrams on dropbox but the link doesn't work any more. Does anyone have a copy as that would help massively.
Thanks!
