Aux in motion, a workaround
Hi all,
I found a way to use my MP3 player showing the video while driving.
I installed an hidden rorary switch who override the reverse camera input and fool the MMCS by simulating reverse.
The first pictures show where to do the cutting and plugging.
The second show where I drill a hole for the switch.
The third show the switch installed.
The fourth show the switch before installing.
The fifth show a simple schema how to connect the switch.
Of course you have to cut wires and you see the lines and the warning text on the screen with the player's display, but it work.
While we're waiting for a software patch, it's better than nothing.
Total cost of the project: 2 bucks!
