My 2017 outlander kuto seems to consume too much fuel. As I used as a private hire (taxi), I do not charge it and prefer to drive it on eco. This gets me 35 mpg +. So my battery is constantly low.
Recently I have noticed that the battery charging process starts on its own without me being able to stop it. Thus the fuel usage increases considerably.
what could be the reason for this?
How do I control when to use the battery or not (not the save mode).
