Default bluetooth connection

Hey everyone, I have a 2007 Outlander and I am trying to set up my new cell phone (samsung eternity) with my car. When I bought my car i had a blackberry curve that wasnt compatible with my car... When i push the SPEECH button and say "SETUP" my car does absolutely nothing. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.. Please throw out any suggestions if you can think anything. Thanks

Having the bluetooth buttons on the steering wheel is just one part of what's needed for bluetooth connectivity. You also need the bluetooth module installed. Are you sure you have that installed?

The Blackberry curve is compatible with the Outlander. My wife has it, and it works fine.
(Also works according to: http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMNA/b...epage/hfl.html)

I am thinking with azjake. Sounds like you do not have the Bluetooth module installed. Steering wheel buttons are just one of the parts. The Bluetooth module is another add-on feature that you would need.
The steering wheel buttons are standard, the module is extra. Go Figure
