Bluetooth module died - Is There A Factory Reset?
Hi - I own a 2007 Mitsubishi 2007 Outlander and the bluetooth recently died. Meaning, it no longer allows connections from any bluetooth device, such as my phone. I noticed at some point that the Outlander, when it would connect to my phone, somehow gave the verbal ID tag of an older phone I used to own. Meaning, the connection protocol found my current phone, but read off the ID tag of an older phone.
I saw another post somewhere that said that the bluetooth wires move through the steering wheel, so if it died so would the buttons on the steering wheel. However, my volume up, down and station up / down buttons on the steering still work.
Is there a way to reset the bluetooth back to factory somehow? I own the navigation system, not sure if that is important to mention or not.
Thanks in advance,
TheJazzMan
