I've had a 2011 RVR SE for about 4 months now and in the past week or so noticed something strange behaviour on the center console.

A few minutes in while driving in the night with headlights on and dash dimness on the lowest or second lowest settings, the center console will light up to full brightness and go back to the original dimness very briefly. This is within a second or less and looks like it only happens on the center console where the time and radio information is. I don't think the dash where the speedometer is does this flashing.

At first I thought it was a reflection from a street light or car light. But it's definitely flashing. A passenger confirmed it while riding in the passenger seat too. It happens at least once or twice at the beginning of the drive, but it's hard to tell because I'm usually paying attention to the road. From what I can tell so far, it has only happened while the car was in motion.

Now that I know it's happening, I'm going to keep a closer eye on it but I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this strange behaviour.
