I bought it from Compucn. Not sure about the universal fitting option but I hope there's a solution for this.

Compucn sell the digital tuner for $90 USD

draeger, where did put the digital tuner? You also said that your GPS antenna is on top of the unit and you get a decent signal, do you have a dash mat? I am wondering if a dash mat will stop the signal?
The DVBT tuner was connected to the Aux connection. The GPS antenna is behind the unit under the dashboard. Very good signal.

Thanks, however, where exactly did you put the DVBT tuner?

I am thinking about putting it in the upper glovebox.

Do you use a dash mat?

I am thinking that the gps signal may deteriorate going through the dash and then the dash mat?

Default Navigation System.

Hello

Dear all. I'am new user in this forum.

I bought above navigation system. Everything is ok except one thing.
When I turn it on the voice is very loud. I can't adjust the volume. On level 1,2,3,4 etc. the level of the volume is the same - loud. Only when I turn to 0 level then it's mute.

Can anyone had same problem ?

Please note that steering wheel control volume is working but in the same way. 1 level is loud and 1 is mute. There is no other regulation.

I have standard radio withour Rockford. My car is from USA.

Appreciate your suggestions.

Oh. The tuner is just sitting behind the unit. No brackets.
No. I don't use a dash mat so I'm reaaly not sure if the mat will affect the gps reception.

fader set right for the speakers? Probably not the issue.
Tcp thanks for the tip on the gps time settings - spot on sorted. Rear speaker issue not fader related. Cheers

Hi Signum:
This is from the Additional Manual on page 2. You should have gotten this additional page.

Just follow the instructions and that'll work.

Draeger I need you assistance again please.

I installed my media unit and I have done something wrong as when I try to watch a DVD I can hear the sound, however, there is a screen message saying "Picture is off for your safety"

I think it may have something to do with the brake (brown) wire? I didn't fit the brake wire to anything, should I?

Also, the reverse camera I bought from Michael Zhang is not mirrored, is there any setting to mirror the reverse camera as I can't find any.

This topic should be made a sticky, heaps of healthful tips posted.

I'm afraid I can't help you with this oldsalt as I didn't do the installation myself. I know nothing about installing stereos and stuff in my car that's why I had it installed by professionals. They did ask me though whether I wanted to disable the "safety" of the dvd and I said "Yes". Sorry.
