Default Code P2252 on a Outlander

My daughter ran over a plastic bucket on the freeway, now her check engine light is on. Attached it to reader and the following message shows up. What does it mean?

Default Thanks

I had the vehicle checked, something broken by or on the muffler. More than likely the sensor. Thanks

I believe there's an oxygen sensor at the catalytic converter so the car can judge how well it's doing as far as emissions go and adjust fuel accordingly. The sensor or wiring is probably what broke.

the negative side of the O2 sensor is how the ECM judges if the sensor is doing allright, you may be able to get under there with a solder iron if the wire is clipped, but if it tore out of the sensor, start looking online for bank one sensor one, which is most likely upstream of the cat, on CA emissions PZEV I have 6 or 7 of the damn things

Thank you all, yes the sensor is broken. Price for sensor $150-300+, now to find one.
