I have had 2 Outlanders, a 2010 and a 2014 which I am currently driving. Both had a speedo that read about 5 KM/hr high at 100 kph. My old Lincoln LS was right on as is my new Mustang so there is no reasonable excuse for this error.

Has anyone corrected the error with a tire size change or a brand change with the same size?

The original equipment Toyo A24 tires are 225-55/18. I am looking to replace the tires of my 2014 soon and would like to eliminate this pet peeve of mine.
