Hello all,

I am, new to the forums as i have recently bought a 2003 2.0 litre manual mitsubishi outlander.
My questions are....

1. i notice when i start the car in the morning or if it hasnt been started for a good few hours the engine revs high to around 2000 rpm and fluctuates up and down! Is this normal or if there is an issue what could it be?

2.I know all cars are different but i have to ask this. i notice the the two engine cooling fans are constantly on! Cars i have owned in the past generallly the fans onbly come on when the engine overheats!
Is it normal on outlanders for the fans to be on constantly?

any info would be great thanks...
