Have any of you come across custom fit seat covers? Custom fit floor mats/cargo tray?

 

I bought a set of these:

They are actually nicer than the pictures show. They have the word "Outlander" sewn across each of the front seats.

 

I'm pretty sure (if my memory isn't totally gone) that there are airbags that deploy from the sides of the seats..the seat covers would cover this and could affect their function.

 

I'm pretty sure they've been designed to be open in that area. There is no material on the side area of the seat.

What floor mats did you get? I used to have husky liners for my Exploder but i see they don't make them for the outie yet.

 

I have mitsu's floor mats that came with the car(convenience package). I did buy the hexomat rubber mat:

It is cut to fit and looks fine. lots of little pockets to collect water/dirt, but no large lip around the outside.

 

There should be one available from your dealers. Since they have side airbags, I would be careful to get from outside sources unless OEM. In Australia, Neoprene Seatcoversw/c are side airbags compatible are available.

I would lean towards vrx's advice and go OEM on this, the SRS system would probably cause you more harm than good if you block it with seat covers. The OEM ones have the sides open so that the bags can deploy there, I wouldnt buy anything that doesnt say SRS compatible on them, wich as of now there is none but OEM.

 

I haven't bought anything yet, but I am sticking with the carpet mats that came with the car, and I will probably get the luggage tray from the second website.
