Default Disable Navigation Warning

Can the navigation disclaimer "Please read this ..." be disabled, so I don't have to press OK every time I get in the car. I have an '07 Outlander with navigation BLD-NR-261UM1.09. We've got to the point that we subconciously avoid the nav screen so we don't have to deal with it.

I apologize if this has another thread, please direct me to it if one exists. It seems that if the DVD in motion code could be hacked, this could as well.

Thanks

Otaku, Brian360 and rcostin are the experts in this subject [sm=hail.gif], but a way to avoid this message is that before turn off the system, you choose an audio or video source, so, when you turn on your Out, you will not see the message. . .

I would love to see that message gone as well, lets hope Otaku has time to look at that one.

I tried your suggestion on my new 08 and it did not make any difference. no metter what O left the screen on last, I always get that message when I go to the Navi screen.

Yes, if you leave your screen for say on CD or Radio, then that will be the screen that will be on when you start up again.

If you leave the screen on the nav, then the warning screen will be first up.
