Does anyone know what exactly this TSB is about? (fender liner)

My wife took it in this morning to look at the fender. They are replacing it under warranty.

well, my wife took it in to have the liner replaced under warranty. I got a picture of the new one, which is attached. Notice something different? They've re-enforced the liner and attached it with rivets exactly where the liner gets pushed into the tire. Unfortunately, the plastic screw (lower left) still does nothing for the liner. We are taking it back to have the hood dents looked at, so we'll have them fix that little issue. The new piece is much much stiffer than the old piece.

Edit: oh yeah, and the service manager said that having the TSB helped out a lot with the warranty issue.

Interesting. Looks like they used the old shield as the base and stapled some extra plastic reinforcement to it.
