Default Dumb question re: CD Changer

Hi,

I just bought a 2007 AWD Outlander LS from a private party. I love it! But I'm not sure if it has the 6-CD Changer. (Totally forgot to ask before I bought it.) It LOOKS like it has a 6-CD changer but when I press the "load" button, nothing happens. So I don't know if the changer isn't working or if it's just not equipped with one. Any idea how I would find this out, short of taking it to the dealership?

See? I told you it was a stupid question.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

This has been addressed before on another thread. Even if you don't have the CD changer the load button is still present. I know because I don't have a CD changer on my ES and I still have the load button. When I press it, it does nothing.

I guess mitsubishi didn't want to have two different console layouts. One for the CD changer, and one for vehicles that don't have it.

Strange that they would make it non-functional. I thought it loaded a CD into the slot if there wasn't one currently in there.

The CD player is auto load. As soon as you start to put a CD into the slot, it grabs it, loads it, and begins playing track 1.
