willing to donate if someone here has the patch dvd in motion for NR261Um 1.09 00.40.32 been reading on this thread and still waiting for update last patch was just before my version sucks

 

you can unlock your HD and manually coppy the 39.xx version over what you have now. its close enough it will work.

i havent had much time lately, the last storm ripped part of the roof off my house, and my cars not running. i will get around to it one of these days.

 

hey, if anyone knows a geek i would be happy to transfer my work to them and let them have a go. experience with a hex editor required, decompliler experience helpfull also.

There is no patched 39.xx UM software version, there only available is 30.99 !!!

also, as cool as the in-motion patch is. you guys all know that if you hook a monitor up to the video out on the head unit, it will show the movie while driving, right? you could mount it to the roof, or do head rest monitors. this at least takes care of the children for long road trips and stuff. its also seriously easy, 2 wires and then power the screen.

the only thing that makes it difficult is changing or starting the movie while moving. once the movie is going the video output will display it even when the front monitor has the 'cannot be displayed while in motion' warning. there's also a way to make this a non-issue too though.

 

is there anyway i can downgrade though?

 

yeah, unlock the hd and manually copy 30.99 over. when u have it unlocked do a backup incase something goes wrong when u copy the files over.

 

if your version is in the 40's then the 30.99 version will work. ive tried copying over an mmcs with new maps and a version in the 60's and the mmcs boot looped and did not work.
