Otaku, I'm a bit lost, what will the new NAVHACK! you posted will do? Will it upgrade maps? will it override the DVD in Motion? I want to override the dvd and be great if AUX too..!! Love your work already donate

 

rgw update will only allow u to use DVD in motion,
thats it...

i tried to contact a couple of dealers, 1 of them told me that mitsubishi will release a new MAP update within a month.

is there any way to even check if its true, when new maps will come? and if someone buy the new maps, all u will need is the files from the disk and u can override again the DVD in motion? (Otaku)?

i am trying to find out when the new version of the maps coming out then i will buy it.
i dont want to buy the current version MZ360377EX since from what i understood a new one should come out next month.
then i will share with u the files, and even if u can do a patch for updating the maps i will share the entire disk.

i could not find MZ360377EX files anywhere.

 

Hello all, my vehicle has BLD-NR-261UM 1.09 70.04 factory installed firmware version. With the new patch, do I just burn the file to a disc and stick it in the CD player? Will this patch enable DVD in motion? Am I going to lose any functions of the entertainment system after the patch is installed? (i.e. GPS navigation, Satellite radio, Bluetooth, etc…) Should I make a back up of the factory installed firmware and is there a how to for this?

Careful, it seems that every year the "dealerships" say that an update is coming out "next month". More times than not the updates come out closer to end of year..... like December. Just a heads up.

i am in contact with 3 different "dealers"
one said: september
second: november
third: in a year

seems like no one actually knows anything
i have been intensive internet researching this
could not find anywhere to find a mitsu reliable source to check on next release
nor could i find any files (i did find for EU maps) nothing for US.

i just dont understand it... weird... is our NAV system really that bad?
even NAVTEQ stopped working with mitsu and will not supply info on their site...

it really sucks to use a phone nav with updated software when u have a 7inch built in nav useless in ur car....
