You'll have to try it and let us know I doubt the update CD will work, but you might experiment with pulling the hard drive, unlocking it, and backing it up, and copying over the UM Loading.KWI version.

If the person who i bought it from doesnt take it back I might have no choice.

Cool thing though is this one has TV in it.

Just checking to see if you guys got anywhere with fixing the problem with the stupid drive safe warning message that comes up every time the Navi system bootups up from startup. To press OKevery time to clear thesafe driving warningis reallyannoying.

Hello Everyone,

I have a challange for you guys....As many of you probably have already, I downloaded the DVD bypass patch and installed it on my carso the DVD will keep playing when in motion (Good job to those who created it that, incredible). That was last night. Today, I noticed my bluetooth handsfree system won't recognize my phone anymore. If I try to make a call, it says phone not available even though my phone has the bluetooth turned on. I tried connecting my phone to the car again and it kicks me off after I say the password. Did anyone have this problem after they install the DVD bypass? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Loader: BLD-NF-261UM 1.09
Application 00.30.94
Navi Sub Microcomputer: 00.30.00 089004
Audio Microcomputer: 00.29.02002902

Sincerely,
Jim

The bluetooth system and the MMCS are two separate physical units and really aren't related. Also, I certainly confirm bluetooth still works 100% on my system, running the same software (with dvd patch) as yours.

Thanks for the fast response brian360, I read a lot of your posts last night.

I will go back to my car and try re-programming my phone. Maybe the reboot deleted the connection with my phone.

Just some newbie questions here, will this patch affect the warranty? It is a bit late to ask this question, but better late than never lol.

No problems here with the bluetooth and phone! Kudos to all involved with the progress!!!

Has anyone ever experimented with playing wmvs on the MMCS? If not - this would also be a great function to program - as I imagine these are smaller videos, can be burnt onto CD-Rs. I would think this is maybe possible as well since the player can read WMA files.
