Finally, I got it to work! Thank you all for all of your help, and great work figuring this out in the first place.

For those of you who have to take out your HDD in the future, I had a tough time finding an adapter for an automotive grade 2.5" HDD to a standard 3.5" IDE connector, so here is what I successfully used:

Hopefully that will save you some time. Careful though, it's flimsy and will break if you are too hard on it (which cost me time and $).

Nubbins question inc!!!

Sup fellas. I'm new to the forums. Just purchased a '08 Outlander SE a few months back and love it. I am now interested in modding my NR261UM. My nub question: Do i need to unlock my HDD b4 i can do this DVD in motion patch? A simple yay or nay will suffice and I promise to not bug you all anymore until i break something.

Thanks so much!! [8D]

You don't need to unlock it unless you need to take the HDD out to modify it. These guys have come up with an iso file which you can burn to a disk and it will perform the update for you.

Look back a couple pages to find the link.

This is great work by everyone here...specially Otaku...if there's anything I can do let me know....question, can someone point me the way to buy a video AUX input...I have a Lancer 08 and the only AUX inputs that I have are audio and I want it all...plus I want to be ready when that patch comes out. Thanks.

Hi dsoquendo. Look the follow threads:

https://mitsubishiforum.com/m_200866..._1/key_/tm.htm
https://mitsubishiforum.com/m_192644/tm.htm

will be to you of much aid. My Outlander only had the audio-in inputs and I added the video-in input following rayp35´s method, and works perfect...
