DVD in motion patch for NR261UM
Ok so i got the patch installed and its working great Front display can now play DVDs while the outlander is moving. Problems remaining at this point. This patch doesnt cover the AUX port which is still blocked when the car is moving. Additionally my rear display and front display no longer see each other so a DVD playing on the front display can no longer be viewed on the display in the back seat of the car!!!
Did I do something wrong here or is it a bug in the patch that kills the front seat / rear seat communications.

Quick update it turns out it wasn't the patch that messed up the communications with the rear display in fact it seems it has never worked I just never noticed it cause I never sit in the back seat. Even though I purchased it with the Rear Display preinstalled it seems it was never hooked up to the main unit since the service menu on the MCC reports the Rear Display as being N/A and upon opening the housing around the rear display I found the wire that should be there connecting to the front is MIA.
So the question that remains is this should I contact Mits direct about this or contact the dealer I purchased it from (I now live about 500 miles from where I purchased the car!)
Thanks for advice

OK GUYS
Here is your solution if you do not want to wait for OTAKU's magic.

Sure thing Otaku's solution is the best and easiest but this is good who can't wait for that long.
It's very easy to install, it took me 3 minutes to install, just connect the sockets supplied to the MMCS and the original sockets to the FEMALE of the original sockets supplied in the kit.
By the way, This thing overrides -AUX in motion - DVD in Motion - VIDEOin motion- TV in motion.
While it's activated (meaning you're watching DVD, VIDEO, TV)you can not use your Navigation it blocks your GPS signals.
It's a good idea if you have a Japanese friend do all the talks for you , because these guys doN't seems to speak English, I myself used helps from a Japanese friend too ..
I also bought from them VIDEO HARNESS INPUT and OUTPUT for the MMCS . It's very easy to install too. Just connect the orginal sockets of your car into the FEMALE socket provided by the company and connect the company's connectors to the MMCS..

Where were you all those months
)) We have been looking for an answer for so many months (maybe a year)
But cutting only the GPS signal will not help, according what I heard from people on this forum, MMCS gets 2 more signals from the car itselfapart from the GPS signal.
Your drawings is in German, und mein Deutsch is nicht so gut !!!!!
So I can't confirm if it works or not.
By the way anybody who can not wait any longer , just order this part from Japan, it looks like your only solution for now.

The logic is that , you don't do both things at the same time anyway....
If you have to Navigate , you can navigate anyway .
This thing has a switch , when you press the switch , you can watch TV, DVD, VIDEO, AUX but GPS disabled.
So if you need theNavigationyou don't watch video/dvd/tv/etc anyway, because you're too busy watching thenavigation screen to understand the next turn??? or do you do both things at the same time ????

Welcome Back, Damn you had a long party, man

One question for you, can you makea modification on the MMCSwhich enables us toselect which Audio Source I would like to hear when in I'm in AUX mode (while viewing a Video Output without any sound)
When connecting a Video Source without any sound ( Like a front camera, digital camera ) when the AUX button is engaged you see the video output but you hear nothing.
I need the MMCS to ask me for Audio source like ( Radio - CD - VIDEO ) so when I click Radio for example, I would like toview VIDEO output from my Front Cam and hear to RADIO at the same time. Do you get what I mean ?
Is this possible ? Do you think you can do this with a software patch ???
Check this video, you will see what I mean, scroll to 0:00:28 and to 0:00.52 seconds.
