You can still unlock the HDD and mess around with other things. i've changed the custom start up images and I think I am going to experiment with loading an older version of the Loading.kwi and the other file to see if I can downgrade with out losing any functionality so I can get the hack to work -- This could potentially screw everything up though so I'm going to be caution about it.

Hi, I found the patch for DVD in motion on a norwegian forum. THis patch is for:
Loader: BLD-NR-261EM 1.09
Application 00.31.06

But my version is:
Loader: BLD-NR-261EM 1.09
Application 00.31.10 <-- 10 instead of 06

THe car is a 08 Lancer

Is there an avilable patch for my version? I don't want to brake something :-P

Thanks

Thanks, I have read abit, and what I understand is that if i use the file u describe here:
Hi to all!

I finally tried to "upgrade" my car (2.0 DI-D Instyle +navi) with this CD:
Outlander Update CD, NR261-EM, Software version Version E, DVD in motion allowed

Before update data was:
SW Version: F
Loader NR-261EM 1.09
Aplication 00.31.08

After "update" i got this data:
SW Version: E
Loader NR-261EM 1.09
Aplication 00.31.06

With that, I was actually downgraded the software, but the DVD plays with picture.
I didn`t notice anything missing from previous version.
If somebody have a newer version, please share...

Zox.
It will automaticly downgrade from 31.10 to 31.06. And it will work..?

Phantom,

I take a risk and did it with my factory version (31.08) and it works. I can`t tell 100% will it work with your version (31.10.). Try at your responsibility...
