Why is this box necessary? Can't one get the same results by putting a switch in the speed sensor wire? I did the same on my Scion XB which had OEM Alpine navigation, a switch that grounded the e-brake wire and cut the speed sensor. Navigation worked, not as well but it still worked. If I needed more accurage navigation, I'd just flip the switch. Total cost was $2.

Yeah, but in the Outie, you need handle the GPS wire too, cutting the mesh. With TV-kit, isn't neccesary to cut nothing, and is reversible 100% removing only two connectors attached to MMCS backside. . .

Thanks for your posting jsrd. I ordered my TV-kit since I co not wan to cut any wires. By any chance do you know if the TV-kit comes with english instructions? Do you have another link for the TV-kit instalation? Preferably a link with pictures. Thanks.

The instructions are in japanese, but the installation is very easy following the pics inside the installation`s manual. I don´t have another source information about installation, but you can see in minkara site, maybe our japanese`s friends have some information
