Hi all. My mmsc has the following numbers
Loader: BID-NR-261EM 1.09
APP: 00.43.13
Software: 00.01.20

Anybody aware of a driving in motion patch for this app?

Best Regards

It's been 6 months and no patch. I don't think we'll be getting one, folks. Maybe someone else will work on it. Version 30.99.

I'm version 30.99... I just downgraded mine. DVD in motion works perfectly.

The date of the above post was 5/23/09 That sure doesn't sound like 6 months ago to me ....

Some of you people (and by you people, I mean jackasses) are absolutely hopeless. I mean here is a guy doing this for no profit of his own, just trying to help out the people in the mitsu community and some of you people are... well maybe somebody else will do it... he just probably gave up on it... forget it, it's not happening, etc. Seriously, send the dood some beer money, some stripper money(slightly more than beer money), or even an email saying hey ... thanks for even just the ability to play DVD's in motion. It's surprising to see so many people speaking with a tinge spite about this but happily running around with the DVD-hack running on their car/truck.

If he makes it a go, great. If not, then nobody can say that he didn't give it a valiant effort. And him just purchasing a unit to help people here is above and beyond.

Give the guy a break and be patient.... or stfu and do it yourself.

Keep kickin *** O

well rockn u inspired me lol, not really im not impatient otaku said he would be releasing this back right when i got my car which is around december 1st and i been patiently waiting but i found out how easy it is to hook up the hdd to my computer so i successfully downgraded my 30.99 to 30.94 with dvd in motion working(thanks to Otaku's files posted on deltainfo). I would suggest any impatient people to downgrade it and install otaku's patch, otherwise wait lol.

good on you total0wnage, did you notice any changes to your system when you downgraded? Im quite prepared to rip my HDD out and plug in to my pc, but im worried about what services I would lose on my upgraded system?

Also you said you used files provided by "Otaku posted on deltainfo"? What is deltainfo? A website, can you post me a link?

Also what platform did you use to read your Hdd. XP or Vista, or does it not make any difference?

Cheers

No anthony, i did not lose any features- my dad was worried about that so we tested everything. The website as i said before- deltainfo is http://www.deltainfo.ro/manuals/mitsu/outlander/

my procedure was- i found a old laptop that uses ide harddrives so i unhooked the normal hdd plugged in the car's hdd- ran xboxhdm to unlock then harddrive, then i bought a laptop harddrive enclosure, put the car's hdd into that and plugged it into my normal desktop which was running vista temporarly, XP or vista- doesnt matter u can use either1. and what u have to do is, go to the deltainfo find 30.94 dvd not allowed, take the alldata.kwi and loading.kwi and overwrite the 2 files and there is a loading.kwi in another partition u have to also overwrite that. then plug harddrive into car- unhook car battery for 5mins then start up the car. and wah la

Haha, kudos on your DVD in Motion 0wnage. Im glad I you roped it up and tackled it. Perhaps your post will inspire others to go at it and do the same. And perhaps by the time O gets the next wave of coolness going most people will be getting into accidents watching 300 in surround sound. : )
