Woah, good to see all the hard work is already done.

is there a general Wiki or FAQ page about this? i dont want to ask too many redundent questions.
Questions Like:
Is the ISO on this Forum For all Models? all Countries? All Versions? (any harm in just burning and trying?)
Is this just the Dvd playback in motion hack?
If not what else is on here and what else is available?
(firmware/feature upgrade, CDDB upgrade, Map Upgrade, etc)
Any other question a noob should be asking but might be overlooking?
Thanks in advance!

Eric in NJ, USA, year+ old 2008 Lancer GTS. (I can get the version number stuff if needed)

The ISO on *this* thread should work for you. Sounds like you have the same model lancer as I do.

Yes. AUX video in motion coming soon, too.

I hope to get a copy of the firmware update (heck I might try the firmware from the Evo X on my lancer GTS once we get a copy of it... although the new outlanders seem to have the same firmware as well) soon that otaku can make a patch for. CDDB upgrades are free from mitsu's website. Map upgrades cost $$$ from mitsu.

Well thank you very much and for the fast reply.

In case any one else wanted it heres the CDDB update:

I guess the next steps would be Aux driving and drop nav warning. then get into the fun stuff.

jsrd, thanks for the link.
I downloaded and burned another CD,still no joy , my MMCS resume normal operation after the message checking disk disappeared.
At this point, I am convinced that the patch problem might have something to do with certain MMCS heads (newer / different version of mmcs head), now otaku, do your magic please. I awaits your good news

For Outie08: A hard question: could you make a copy of the data from your disk ?

Another question which has no connection with the current thread at all but I ask it here, maybe someone will have an answer: is there any possibility to have rear camera and AUX video connected an running ? Not in the same time rear camera - when you drive bakwards, but in the rest AUX Video IN to have its role.
Thanks and sorry for this post.

Hi Rcostin,
If you're refering to the disk in the MMCS, that would be a very hard question and very tall order, I read you post on "How to unlock MMCS" many, many times, I don't think I am up to the task to remove the mmcs hdd,let alone to do acopy.
short answer to hard question: My wife will kill me ![sm=chairshot.gif]

I'm not familiar with the outlanders, but on my 08 lancer my AUX video in is located on 3 RCA jacks directly above the ash tray. The rear-camera is supposed to be spliced in to a separate input connector on the rear of the MMCS. If thats the case, I don't see any problems with both a rear camera and a video device hooked to the AUX connectors. It will only display the rear camera when shifted in Reverse, and only display the AUX video when "AUX" is selected in the Mode screen. Does the outlander not have a dedicated easily accessible video input in the front?

Outlander display the rear camera when shifted in Reverse, and only display the AUX video when "AUX" is selected in the Mode screen as well.Outlander don't not have easily accessible video input in the front, have to pull the MMCS head, one of the plug at the back of the mmcs head is readyand dedicated for rear backup camera,I followed the post by rdenis in this fourm to install mine.
