DVD in motion patch for NR261UM
The video-injacks on the Outlander are on the back side of the center console, they are intended to be used by the rear seat occupants. It's a similar connection to the Lancer, but in a different location.
Something I don't get.... where do you go to find out which version you have?
I pressed info and all I saw was..
SW Version C
Map Version 2006-1
CDDB Version 0663-0000
Whats up Otaku? I remember you from a forum working on some things on Audi Navis. I used to own an 2000 A6 Quattro.

Hold down the "Set" and "Navi" buttons for a few seconds and a screen will appear that lets you check the version.

Do you think re-wiring will need to be done in order to use the Aux in the same manner?
For those who might want to help with AUX video in and rear camera, is better to move the conversation here to avoid 'poisoning' the current thread

Thanks Jsrd,
I hope Otaku can do his magic again too ![sm=hail.gif]
I suspectthe 2008 Outlander are loaded with a newer / different MMCS, Withdifferent application version of "00.30.94" anddifferent microcomputer versions, even with the samebootloader version of (BLD-NR-261UM 1.09) still the updates won't take.
I suspect the 08 Outlander share the same MMCS withthe Evo x, I woundered if any Evo x is also having the same "patch" issue as mine...

I have a 08 Lancer GTS (bought it Nov'07), not the Evo X and I have the application 00.30.94. It may just be a newer version was made when the vehicle was built, idk, sucks tho.[:@]
