ECO - MODE / Fuel Consumption
Hello,
My 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander V6, stays really low in rpm, unless I press the pedal hard. Even going uphill it will run @ 1100 - 1300 rpm, and that in my opinion is just not right. Is this because of the ECO MODE? Is there a way to deactivate the ECO mode?
Even so, while driving mostly in city in 4wd Auto, I'm using according to the on-board computer, not less then 13.5 - 15L/100km.
Pretty sure something's not right.
Any thoughts?
Any input is highly appreciated.
Thanks.

From the sounds of it, everything is performing as it should. I wouldn't be concerned about the RPM. As long as the power is there, you're good. With increased RPM comes decreased MPG.
