I did one side at a time using a 9v to wind the piston back.

how else would you change the brakes if it’s not jacked up?

confirmed. This works. 9v at least. If you have a power pack I have seen that work as well.

Default Parking service brake maintenance mode

I can’t get it out of parking brake maintenance mode. Did anyone else have issues with that? I have searched all over the internet for ways to do it and I have done 3 or 4 ways. Last way I did it was disconnected the battery and reconnected after about 5 minutes and everything stayed the same

Make sure you connected the epb's plugs back in. Try spinning both sides back to the point of piston turning again and reconnect etc. You can unbolt the epb unit from the back of the caliper and manually unlock if it has jammed. There are instructions elsewhere for that.
