Speaking of door handle vs door button unlocking - 2012+ models don't have door handle sensors anymore, so the button is the only option.

Mine is a 2012 LS model.
I'm guessing that when I wrote the change in Diagbox to change the door unlocking mode it must have overwrote the factory setting. Maybe dealer tool may bring it back? Next time I'm there I'll ask and play dumb

You wouldn't know for sure unless you've managed to connect to one. And I don't suppose you've managed to connect to one because Diagbox and Etacs Decoder won't.

Say what? Ok I'm glad I got another 2010 then..The door handle sensor is the best part..screw pressing a button!

My new one is Labrador black as well....

There's probably some kind of etacs setting that can fix your door button problem I just have no idea what..

If you have time you could try going though all the customer options, or trade it in for a 2010 a button seriously -.-

I believe those sensors could be retrofitted.

I know one guy having installed extra sensors on rear doors as well

Default ETACS Decoder capabilities

Couple of questions.

1. which version of ETACS Decoder will be best suited to an '08 Outie?
2. will it switch on the Bluetooth hands free module?

Sorry to bump this but we are having difficulties installing Lexia to get it to progress past the VIN entry request and would try the ETACS Decoder program if it is suitable for the '08 and would turn on the Bluetooth option which has just been fitted and is the main reason for buying in the Actia kit.

Advice would be appreciated.

Get most recent version of ED - always. Old versions are not recommended/supported.

Latest version of ETACS Decoder now running. Do you know where in the program we can find the Bluetooth cellphone hands free option to turn on a recently fitted module? Cannot find any reference to "Bluetooth" Is the module and any options for it referred to in some other way? How would we recognise the requisite switch? Sorry for pursuing you but we are not familiar with this complex piece of software. Thanks

BT module is being referenced as HFM.
