Check what settings it has set for ABS/ASC related things before you encode or write...

I believe ABS should be not present, ASC should be present and the steering wheel angle sensor should be present as well.

If a setting is wrong it won't go away by driving it and you don't have to drive it to clear and error if you correct a wrong setting.

Yea, ABS is not present. But TCM is present, i'm assuming the duties are for ABS are done there. ASC is also present and steering wheel angle sensor is also present.

But when i change #19 back to TPMS present, encode, then write. Everything returns back to normal with no codes.

Yes your correct, if ABS is set to present it assumes you don't have TCM / ASC so if they are also on it causes a conflict and throws an error.

How does that long string at the top of ED change between when TPMS is on and you encode and when TMPS is off and you encode?

Default ETACS_decoder_4_1_0_1

Is anyone else having problems getting the program loaded?

Using Win7, and it won't even open the new release 4.1.0.1.

No problems loading the program at all. I'm using a fresh install of Windows 7(oem disk) on an old laptop because i upgraded to windows 10 and didn't like it. Figured this old laptop would be ideal for this. The only thing i did was run windows update overnight before running etacs decoder.

I'm tired to repeat:

ED has NO system requirements
ED work on ANY Windows XP, 7,8,10 x32/x64
if it doesn't start, look for the problem in the system, or the drivers of your adapter, or the antivirus.
It is NO problem in ED.

Default Enable Fog Light

I bought an OEM Fog Light Kit for my 2010 Outie ES and it need to be coded to enable the Fog Light. I called the Mitsu service and I was quoted $110.00 as minimum charge.

The 07-09 Outlander OEM Fog Light Kit has a code in the instructions where you do the pattern of turning ignition to ON, open doors 5x... etc...

Will this tool be able to do that?
