ETACS options customization

Any thoughts about this? (Ds mode triggered when pressing 4WD selector).
Citroen C-Crosser , Outlander XL Sport Mode Ds - YouTube
Fake? Seems to hold RPMs higher, which is sort of like what it does when put in 4WD lock (but not as extreme as this video).
As I mentioned before, if someone wants to try Lexia in Vancouver I can let them use mine. They can test it on theirs before I try it on mine
As for ESS, this may provide some help (for Euro Lancer I believe):
Inspection Procedure 14: ESS inoperative or improper operative
Looks like its part of ASC-ECU, which can be both good and bad (no extra part needed, but may be different type of ASC ecu). Perhaps try the ESS actuator test in Lexia if supported?

I already ordered On-On switch, going to activate Ds on my Outlander.
Thanks for the link, will have a look at it.

Thanks for the feedback Vadimus. I'll probably order one up and definitely keep an eye on this thread. If anyone ever sees a thread related to Lexia on the Lancer, let me know.

When you installed the software did your XP told you it installed new hardware named multi-instance USB? If not sure, with the device plugged check "My Computer", Property, Hardware, Device Manager. It should show at the top of the list. If not, that's the problem.
After some searching it appear that Citroen and Peugeot introduced their model in mid 2007 (July 2007) so maybe your Outie was made before the introduction of the European clone. This would mean the software might not be compatible with your version of the ETACS. I hope not...

It seems that everything is 0k, share a photo with Lexia unplugged, and then plugged, and the device manager immediately detects
I'll try the freezing method, and does not seem a bad idea, so I'll be commenting if this worked. . .

jsrd, you can try this PSA Interface Checker. Here is how to use it.
Of course I'm going to try, and I thank you and Claude_A for their help, this is something that has motivated me to continue on this project

Vadimus, can you give more details about the On-On switch?

Upgraded my Lexia tool and get the same result: no connection . Well, I need to get a 2008 or newer Outlander and try to connect the tool to eliminate the possibility that my ETACS is the problem. . .
