The dealer is able to reprogram to factory defaults. Maybe they will not do that... If you get a new ETACS it must be programmed by MUT3. So there must be a posibility to do that. Maybe the dealer has to change any value step by step but it is posible.

Take the list of lordtygr and try yourself with lexia.

Good luck.

asidrave, I feel your pain. I did the same with my 2011 Outlander Sport once. What saved me was the settings that I had backed up just the day before. I had to go through each page, setting by setting and redo everything to the original value. Took me an hour and was a pain to get it done.

Here is the file if you'd like to take a look:

Main developer (I just helped him a bit) was stuck upon writing settings back to ETACS.
There is some kind of CRC-like code for settings string to be accepted. No luck with that yet...

Anyway if someone wants to play here are the links for utility and driver:

Hi Ivanz

I'm also in Vancouver with a 2010 Outlander XLS.

Can you help me make some change on my Outie? I'm thinking about auto lock function and fog light..

Thanks in advance!

Bob

Sure. Auto lock is easy but I don't believe auto fog lights is an option unless car comes with HIDs... I tried it on my 08 and all settings resulted it having to manually turn them on. PM me and we can meet up this weekend or something...

Lordtygr,

What year and type is your car. I followed the settings and fixed all expect the asc service required. I have a 2011 Evo.

To make a long story short I was playing round with settings and defaulted the car to a crosser/4007!

Just trying to figure out what piece I am missing.

Thanks in advance!

lordnzo, which settings for your Evo you need to know/not sure?

Last week I turned off TPMS on someone's Evo (though 2009), I can have a look if I still have that log.
